My primary school

My primary school

I went to "Osnovna škola grofa Janka Draškovića" primary school which is located in Vrapče, Zagreb. I started primary school in 2010 and finished it in the summer of 2018. I have graduated from primary school with a grade average of 4.8 out of 5. Ever since I have learned some basic HTML in primary school I have always liked it and have been interested in learning more about it. I had a great IT professor who taught me many things such as some basics in HTML, QBasic, Python, etc.

My high school

After a successful primary school graduation I chose the "Gimnazija Lucijana Vranjanina" gymnasium. The reason behind my choice was mostly the distance I had to travel to get to my high school. It was the closest option and took me the shortest to get to it. I was a part of the last multi-language program generation. Unlike my grade average in primary school, high school was a bit harder so my total grade average was 4.0 out of 5. Despite the school being hard I had a lot of fencing tournaments I had to attend to which meant I was barely in school and I had to work twice as much as other kids to catch up with the curriculum. There was no clubs in my high school so I was not a part of one, unfortunately. I continued showing interest for coding in high school when I got placed in my IT class in my junior year of high school. Although I knew majority of the stuff we learned in Python from primary school, I was introduced to C++. I learned the most basic things in C++ as we did not have enough time to waste on C++.

My college

I decided to continue my education at RIT. Initially, I was going to study marketing in Rotterdam, but my dad showed me the RIT website and the IT program that is offered at RIT and I immediately fell in love with it. I mean, how can you not love it? It is an American college that revolves around IT. Once I get my Bachelor's degree I'm planning on continuing my studies to get my Master's degree as I believe it will open many doors for me in the future.
